The role of CFA’s Historic Buildings Survey Team is to provide interpretative
architectural analysis through measured surveys for redevelopment, evaluation and conservation purposes. We are employed by a broad spectrum of clients involved with Historic Buildings, from individual property owners through to large-scale developers, charitable and government bodies.
Using modern survey techniques in conjunction with documentary evidence, CFA can produce accurate scaled drawings of building elevations, floor plans and internal building surveys with detailed interpretation. We can produce building condition surveys for a range of building styles, materials and periods.
Our Buildings Survey Team takes great care to tailor the specifications of each particular job to ensure the most appropriate scheme of works that will satisfy planning control, whilst minimising the cost to our clients.
Our staff has a large amount of experience in modern survey practice and its application within National Planning Guidelines (PPG15 and NPPG18). Our methodologies and knowledge are continually revised to ensure our staff are trained in the most up-to-date methods and are fully aware of the most recent legislation affecting the built environment. |
