Have you seen this new publication by Archaeopress: 'Documenting Activism, Creating Change'?

The front cover of a journal. It is yellow, with rainbow vector trowels decorating the top and bottom. The title reads "Documenting Activism, Creating Change. Archaeology and the legacy of #MeToo"

#TeamCFA's own Rosie L is an author on Chapter 14: 'Mentoring: Women in Archaeology and Heritage. The Positive Power of Social Media within Women’s and LGBTQIA+ Spaces.'

Rosie is a founding member of Mentoring Woman in Archaeology and Heritage (MWAH), an online group established in 2018 with the goal of creating a safe space within which women and non-binary heritage professionals could forge connections, seek (and provide) advice and peer support, and engage in honest discussion about industry issues. This chapter tells the story and achievements of MWAH and its sister project Seeing Red, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and improving sanitary and hygiene practices in the construction sector.

This is open access and available to read for free online on Archaeopress' website.
