CFA Archaeology is excited to share our latest journal article, '500 Years of River Management of the Dove Valley, along the Border of Derbyshire and Staffordshire', published in the Journal of Wetland Archaeology. Investigations at Dovecliff Weir uncovered the remains of an earlier medieval weir, revealing centuries of river management practices and highlighting the value of archaeology in river restoration projects.

Check out CFA's new article 'A Beaker cremation burial and a medieval 8-post structure to the north of Edzell, Angus', published in the latest volume of the Tayside and Fife Archaeological Journal.

CFA is proud to announce the publication of an article in the most recent volume of 'Norfolk Archaeology', following an excavation in Attleborough in 2021. Prehistoric pottery was recovered from a pit cluster, indicating domestic Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age activity, and a ring gully and further pits were radiocarbon dated to the Iron Age.
