CFA staff members give lectures on recent archaeological discoveries to local archaeological societies across the country.

Several of our team have been involved in continuing education and have run day-schools and evening classes for universities and other educational establishments. We have managed and organised a number of community-based schemes to enable people to participate in archaeological discoveries in their local area.

Examples of recent work

  • Prestongrange Community Archaeology Project (with East Lothian Council)
  • Contributions to the annual Scottish Archaeology Month (Archaeology Scotland)
  • Contributions to the 2009 Community Archaeology Conference
