CFA are delighted to have been awarded the Minor Archaeological Services Call-Off Contract for Historic Environment Scotland (HES), providing archaeological services for all of the HES Properties in Care in Scotland.
CFA are delighted to have been awarded the Minor Archaeological Services Call-Off Contract for Historic Environment Scotland (HES), providing archaeological services for all of the HES Properties in Care in Scotland.There are over 300 Properties in Care, which consist of sites and monuments in the ownership or guardianship of HES and include some of Scotland’s premier tourist attractions, ranging from Edinburgh Castle to the Clava Cairns.
We have so far this year conducted watching briefs at Ring of Brodgar, Orkney; Aberdour Castle, Fife; Skipness Castle, Argyll & Bute; and Fort George, Highland. It is a privilege to be able to work at such iconic monuments and we look forward to working closely with HES over the coming years.
